It's not a matter of if you will be the target of a cyber event, it's a matter of when

The good news is that there are a number of straightforward cyber-hygiene practices that can minimize your chances of being a victim.  As in the old adage, you don't need to run faster than the bear, only faster than the other hikers.  With a proper, layered, cybersecurity framework, you will a less attractive target than others.
